History

Established in 1989.

New York Habitat was established in 1989 by Founder and President Marie-Reine Jezequel. The idea for New York Habitat came from noticing the lack of accommodation options available in New York City. The goal of New York Habitat is to help our clients find quality furnished apartments, vacation rentals, bed and breakfast apartments and apartment shares for roommates. The company has expanded over the years. We opened New York Habitat Europe in 1996 to offer our services in Paris. We were joined by our office in the South of France in 2001, which offers furnished villas and apartments. We further expanded to London in 2002 by opening New York Habitat LTD., offering furnished rentals and vacation rentals.
