At Chinook School of Music students of all ages enjoy lessons in piano, guitar, voice, violin, cello, flute, drums, Music Kids, and theory in both studio and in home settings. Our instructors are dynamic, creative and passionate about teaching. They are dedicated to cultivating a lifelong love of music through the development of each student’s natural abilities. We teach all styles and genres of music including classical, rock, pop, and jazz. Our progressive environment offers students a chance to learn and grow as musicians and human beings. Our students’ families become part of ours in a supportive and inspired music community. Our exclusive preschool program, Music Kids offers children ages 6 months to 5 years of age, a solid foundation of music skills. Specially designed programs such as our Performance Enrichment Program (PEP), Musical Theatre, Adult Vocal Bootcamp and Adult Cello Choir offer exciting opportunities for all levels of musicians.

Carrie and Robert had a vision to create a music school where teachers could thrive in a creative environment and students could reach their highest musical goals while having fun and expressing themselves. What started as a 5 room studio on the main level of Plaza 34 with only 50 students and four instructors is now a 1200+ student faculty with over 45 instructors teaching all instruments to students of all ages and skill levels both in our studio and in the community. The school now offers diverse programming including “Music Kids” our flagship preschool music program as well as musical theatre, adult vocal boot camps, group violin for young children, summer camps, music kids in the park, performance enrichment for all instruments, collaborative workshops, in house festivals, recitals and more.
