Partnering with his parents, Lutz Kuenz launched Great Events Rentals as a new venture that would support Great Events Catering, its sister company, owned by Ulrich Kuenz since 1982. With both businesses thriving, the Kuenzes expanded into a larger space. Finding the current campus in 2005, there was now room for a showroom and warehouse for Great Events Rentals, as well as office space for Great Events Group. (There was also space for a restaurant, and Cravings Market Restaurant was born.) The Great Events Rentals showroom boasts 2000 square feet of beautiful space, stocked with samples from the 12,500 square foot warehouse. Clients can “play,” putting together mock-ups for their event. In 2011, Kuenz added a second warehouse, needing additional space to store specialty items as the inventory grew. In 2013, Kuenz bought out each of his parents’ shares to own the company fully. Prior to going into the rental business, Kuenz owned a bakery.
