Harcourt House is one of only four public galleries, and one of three artist-run centres in Edmonton. We deliver a host of services to both artists and the community – and act as an alternative location for the presentation, distribution and promotion of contemporary art. In our exhibition programming we seek both emerging and established artists to present work that aims to engage. Harcourt House Gallery is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm. The gallery annually presents a minimum of 10 five-week exhibitions, from local, provincial and national artists, collectives and arts organizations.

Though Harcourt House’s art galleries are temporarily closed to the public in response to the mandatory Covid-19 measurers implemented by the Government of Alberta, Harcourt’s management continues to monitor updates from the Province and hopes to reopen the galleries when we are permitted to do so. Updates on our opening dates will be announced by email, on our social media channels, and our website. In the meantime, we invite all arts enthusiasts, arts connoisseurs, and general public to join us as digital visitors at www.harcourthouse.ab.ca for a temporary viewing of Harcourt’s new exhibition projects.
