Our service department is equipped with advanced diagnostics systems, the full range of special tools and the very latest service information. Maintenance and repairs are carried out by certified technicians, who are continuously trained in the latest Volvo Penta technology and repair methods, using only Genuine Volvo Penta Parts. The Genuine Volvo Penta Parts and Accessories we install are covered for 24 months – including the labor involved in fitting the part. The fitted-parts warranty is for 24 months or 600 hours (Marine Leisure), whichever comes first.

Established in 1988.
Established in 1988, Helmut’s Marine began as a small Volvo Penta shop in San Rafael run by Helmut and his wife Lisa. Over the years they began carrying the largest inventory of genuine Volvo Penta parts, gasoline and diesel engines and became the first Volvo Penta Power Center, in charge of CA, HI, AZ, NM, NV, UT, and Guam. Now with a crew of 18 people including their daughter Nadine and son-in-law Nate, a lot has changed over the years; however, two things have remained the same 1. We still specialize and exclusively work on Volvo Penta 2.
