The Long & McQuade Edmonton Highlands store is located at 6633-118 Avenue. We are a stone’s throw east from Northlands Coliseum. We have lots of parking available, with easy access for rental pickup and drop off on the east side of the building.

Situated just East of Wayne Gretzky Drive on 118 Avenue, drivers can easily find us by travelling north on Wayne Gretzky Drive and taking a right on 118 Avenue. We are also within walking distance of the Coliseum LRT station.

Many Edmontonians will remember our Northeast store previously as Axe Music, which opened and operated as a very popular music store in Edmonton since 1980. Many of the original Axe Music staff have moved over with us to continue their careers. We look forward to continuing old customer relationships and developing new ones!

On November 16th of 2019, the old Axe Music location was closed permanently for the opening of Edmonton’s newest flagship Long & McQuade location in Edmonton Highlands which opened for business on November 18th, 2019.  This location, has an expanded rental department, an expanded Lesson Centre and features plenty of parking. We invite you to check out our massive electric guitar wall and selection. Come sit on the couch in the massive acoustic room while you shop for that perfect instrument. This location also has plenty of products available to rent for any level of player.

Our Music Lessons Centre hosts experienced and knowledgeable teachers with many private studios to create a professional and fun environment in which to learn.  We are open for private instruction for all ages, levels and styles.
