Here at MCC, we believe in letting the child’s spirit guide us. It is our goal to help children develop and nurture their intrinsic love of learning, their independence, and their sense of community. In the process, we hope to aid them in becoming lifelong learners. Located in picturesque Parkmerced in the southwest corner of San Francisco, the school is housed in state of the art facilities in a quiet neighborhood.

Business History

Judith Flynn, or Miss Flynn as she is know to the children, founded MCC with Jean Nugent in 1976. She studied Montessori at the Children’s House in London, and spent two years teaching in the classroom there before returning to San Francisco to start her own school. She also holds an MA in English as a Second Language from UC Berkeley and an MS in Nursing from San Francisco State University.
